Brownlow Residential Care Home is situated in the affluent and elegant area of London called Muswell Hill. Muswell Hill is in the London Borough of Haringey and is serviced by excellent bus routes and both the tube (Northern Line, High Barnet Branch or the Picadilly Line) and Mainline Rail service out of both Moorgate and Kings Cross towards Hertford North, Letchworth and Welyn Garden City. Brownlow is conveniently located to take advantage of the popular amenities offered by Muswell High Broadway with its mixture of shops, cafes and local delicatessens. Brownlow was a semi detached Edwardian house that was professionally and sympathically extended and refurbished to provide en-suite accommodation over three floors, all serviced by a lift and two separate stairways. These additions were made without compromising the period features and the homely character of the original building. To the rear of the home is a private garden with an overlooking patio and a walking trail to allow our residents to access all areas of the garden. Brownlow is truly worthy of the description “Home from Home”, and is indeed a comment that is frequently passed about the home. At Brownlow we are always happy to help residents achieve their personal wants and to ensure their needs are always met. We aim to promote wellness and quality of life by taking away the worries of everyday life likes bills, maintenance of your home, the worry of being alone and allow residents to concentrate on the aspects of their lives that bring them happiness and contentment. We aim to be as flexible as possible each day to support the changing nature of everyday life from the last minute support of a care giver to help you visit the shops, to allowing the wants of our residents to decide on the day’s activities rather than a timetable. Our residents can see Deviaini, our manager on weekdays and are always welcome to talk over any issue, concern or idea they may have. This ensures an individual’s views are always taken into account in all decision making.
Mandeep is supported in her role by Juliet Nolasko who has worked with Ventry Residential Care at Brownlow Residential Care Home for over three years and has a excellent working knowledge of the home and the Service Users. Juliet holds a Professional Diploma in Health and Social Care and is very much ‘hands on’ and enjoys interacting with her residents, their friends and relatives on a daily basis. The homely nature of Brownlow very much supports this close relationship. Juliet is passionate about her role and works with her staff team to deliver a high quality of care to her residents every day.
