Residential Care

There are a number of reasons why people consider moving into a residential care home.

You may require care for a short period following an operation or you may simply want a rest from the day to day domestic chores and want someone else to worry about cooking and cleaning!

Residential care is a good option for people who would benefit from quality accommodation, nutritious and wholesome meals, help with personal care needs and the added support with everyday tasks, such as washing, dressing and the administration of medication. It enables individuals to retain their independence with the reassurance that support from our care team is available 24 hours a day leaving you to enjoy life to the full in a comfortable and homely environment.

Residential care does not normally have a requirement for nursing assistance.

There may also be times when residential care is required when your family or primary carer are not available and this is often the case over holiday periods like Christmas or Easter.

Alternatively you may be thinking about moving in permanently but want to experience home life without making any long term commitment.

However should you wish to have the comfort of making such a long term commitment you should also remember that the first six weeks of any placement is on a trail basis and can be ended with seven days notice. In addition even under a long term care agreement a placement can be brought to an end with one months notice.

In all these circumstances we are happy to provide a short term care package that provides you with all the benefits enjoyed by our long term residents.
