The Cottages at Aronmore provide an up to date way of supporting older people to live independently for as long as they can. It offers people security and privacy of a home of their own, as well as access to a range of facilities within the care home located on site and 24 hour care and support services on site when needed as well as the opportunity to control your finances and how you live your life.
To be eligible for a Cottage you must be an older person (usually aged over 65) and in need of care and support to live in your own home.
The Cottages allow older persons to live independently while knowing that should their needs increase to a level where they are unable to manage they can move into the familiar surroundings of the Care Home on site, thus making an important and sometimes difficult decision much easier.
The Cottages offer a own self-contained studio flat and professional care staff are on site 24 hours a day to provide the care and support you need.
The cost of this accommodation varies according to an individual’s circumstances and any saving, property or income they have. Some people will have to pay all the costs of the housing, whereas others will be entitled to benefits to meet some or all of the cost of the accommodation. If you get housing benefit or income support, you may also be entitled to free care and support services. The cost of this accommodation will consist of rent, service charges and charges for any personal or social care support you may need.
