Food and nutrition is an important part of everyday life. We place real pride and value on the importance of food, nutrition and the social opportunities offered at meal times. Whilst working on our own produce to support a tasty and nutritious menu, we know the importance of good food at any age. Our residents enjoy home-cooked, freshly made dishes at every meal. Our cooks take personal pride in preparing a balanced diet, and can also cater for individuals’ dietary needs. We offer a wide range of choices each day and work to a four week rotating menu. We have developed menus that promote choice at all mealtimes, whilst working to be sure that the choices offered represent a wholesome extension to a person’s care plan and meet their nutritional needs. Please see our “sample menu“. Mealtimes are seen as an occasion and an opportunity for people to engage socially. Those who prefer the peace and quiet of their own company will be able to enjoy room service. However, mealtimes are important and for those residents wishing to engage in conversation and enjoy the social aspects of mealtimes, we strive to make mealtime a special occasion.
