Ashfield

At Ashfield we are always happy to help residents achieve their personal wants and to ensure their needs are always met. We aim to promote wellness and quality of life by taking away the worries of everyday life likes bills, maintenance of your home, the worry of being alone and allow residents to concentrate on the aspects of their lives that bring them happiness and contentment. We aim to be as flexible as possible each day to support the changing nature of everyday life from the last minute support of a care giver to help you visit the shops, to allowing the wants of our residents to decide on the day’s activities rather than a timetable. Our residents can talk to Maria on weekdays and are always welcome to talk over any issue, concern or idea they may have. This ensures an individual’s views are always taken into account in all decision making.

Ashfield Care Home is situated in the bustling suburb of London, North Finchley. North Finchley is in the London Borough of Barnet and is serviced by excellent bus routes and the Mainline Rail service out of both Moorgate and Kings Cross towards Hertford North along side the Northern Line tube service. Ashfield is conveniently located to take advantage of the popular amenities offered by local high street with its mixture of shops, cafes and local delicatessens. Ashfield was constructed in 2006 to provide en-suite accommodation over three floors, all serviced by a lift. To the rear of the home is a private destination sensory garden and patio that is accessible by all our residents. Ashfield is truly worthy of the description “Home from Home”, and is indeed a comment that is frequently passed about the home. We offer highly professional care with a personal touch within our core principles of Care, Comfort and Compassion. Ashfield works to provide emotional ‘warmth’ for our residents through patience and genuine care to ensure that the total well being of our residents are met. The home provides safety and security with no unnecessary constraints on freedom or independence. We aim to create an environment which supports our residents to retain their friendships, skills, hobbies and interests. Further, we aim to promote new relationships and interests by supporting our residents to access and benefit from the local community. Ashfield has won its “Home from Home” reputation from our residents, their families and the clinicians that have worked with the home over the years by concentrating on every aspect of our residents’ day to ensure every day is a good day.

Welcome to Ashfield Care Home. Our manager at Ashfield is Earshad Hossain who has worked with Ventry Care Homes at St Francis Care Home and then Ashfield Care Home since November 2009. He was appointed Registered Manager of Ashfield in August 2018 having worked in the role deputy manager at St Francis Care Home.

Earshad has a Bachelor in Medicine in his home country and has completed a MSC in Public Health at the University of East London. Earshad also holds a Diploma in Leadership and Management Level 5. Earshad is very much a ‘hands on’ manager and enjoy interacting with her residents, their friends and relatives on a daily basis. The small and homely nature of Ashfield very much supports this close relationship. Earshad is passionate about his role and works with his staff team to deliver a high quality of care to his residents every day.

Ashfield sits within the Ventry family as an affiliate company. It is registered separately with the Care Quality Commission and it’s provider is Circa Care Ltd.
