There are a number of reasons why people consider moving into a residential care home.

However should you wish to have the comfort of making such a long term commitment you should also remember that the first six weeks of any placement is on a trail basis and can be ended with seven days notice. In addition even under a long term care agreement a placement can be brought to an end with one months notice.
